Real-time Chat

Damon and I have been talking about a whole slew of features we want to add to TicTap.

Our focus has always been to take the side of the user and ask ‘Would I even use this?’ when we decide whether or not a feature is useful.

Lately, we’ve decided on a couple of things we want to do. One of them is a real-time chat.

We figure that it’ll benefit people if they’re able to ask short questions and get answers on product items. This way, they will have another set of opinions from real users, besides the existing user reviews from Amazon.com.

This chat feature is just the first of a few new features we want to create that will connect real and interested buyers of products. Our aim is to create a network effect that harnesses the collective knowledge of everyone.

Look out for the chat box. We’ve got it running in our sandbox, and you should see it within a week!
