A9 is our preferred search engine
From today, we will use Amazon.com’s search engine A9 for most of our external searches.
There are 2 reasons for this.
We love A9’s use of authoritative sources for search results. Rather than have to scroll down a linear list of results, A9 knows how to show me images and movie and actor information information when I search for “Al Pacino”. It reminds me of Answers.com and the very excellent Wikipedia.
In case you think A9’s search results are not up to scratch, know that they are also enhanced by Google.
The second reason to use A9 is that it saves you money, and we love it! That’s right, regular users of A9 will qualify for an additional 1.57% of discounts on almost all products at Amazon.com. Details can be found here.
